Why R410a Refrigerant or even Inverter in Air Conditioning systems

Zorro Services www.zorroservices.co.za wants to ensure the understanding around Air conditioning systems, We would love to discuss the questions around R410a as a refrigerant (Gas), non-inverter and Inverter systems. Follow us on www.facebook.com/zorroservices/ or twitter.com/zorroservices

In 2010, R22 was discontinued for the use in new Air conditioning systems, for reason such as the contribution to ozone depletion.
R410a was newly approved for the use of new Air conditioning systems, R410a was designed to absorb and release more heat than R22 as a result R410a compressors can run cooler reducing the risk of compressor burnout due to overheating, increasing the life span of Air conditioning units in general.
R410a systems are design with the use of synthetic oil which is more soluble ensuring a much more smoother operation of components.

Non-inverter Air conditioning systems deliver a fixed amount of power, meaning the compressor has to stop and start to maintain the desired room temperature, it is for this reason that this type of systems consume much more energy.

Inverter Air conditioning systems varies the speed of the compressor, delivering precise cooling or heating power required meaning once the room reaches a set temperature the speed control lowers the compressor speed maintaining set temperature at a lower speed.
Inverter systems is the best method to save electricity with percentages of between 30 to 50%.
